We are recruiting on behalf of Valu8, a data and analytics platform built for Private Equity, M&A, and corporate strategy teams. Valu8 aggregates financial data, ownership structures, and alternative data sources across more than 65 million European companies, enabling investors to source, analyze, and execute acquisitions more effectively.
Founded in 2011 by professionals from M&A and fintech, Valu8 is the market leader in the Nordics and is now scaling its commercial organisation to support continued growth across Europe. The company operates from offices in Stockholm and London.
The Role
We are looking for an Account Manager to develop, retain, and expand an existing customer portfolio within Private Equity, M&A, and Corporate Finance.
This is a commercial role with a strong focus on upsell, renewals, and Net Revenue Retention. You will manage a large account book and work proactively to grow revenue from existing customers.
You will own your portfolio end-to-end, from onboarding and value realization to negotiations and contract renewals.
Responsibilities
Grow revenue within an existing customer portfolio (upsell, cross-sell, renewals)
Drive customer retention and increase Net Revenue Retention (NRR)
Run onboarding, check-ins, and customer reviews to ensure strong product adoption
Manage contract renewals and commercial negotiations
Act as a trusted advisor to customers within PE, M&A, and Corporate Finance
Build relationships with key stakeholders (Analysts, CFOs, Heads of M&A)
Work closely with Product and Sales to drive expansion opportunities
Maintain a structured, proactive approach to account planning and forecasting
Requirements
5+ years of experience in B2B sales and/or account management
Comfortable owning a large customer portfolio
Strong commercial mindset with confidence in negotiations
Structured, self-led, and proactive
Strong stakeholder management skills
Fluent English is required
Swedish or another Nordic language is a plus, not a requirement
Nice to Have
Experience from SaaS, tech, or financial services
Exposure to Private Equity, M&A, or Corporate Finance
Experience working with renewals and expansion revenue
Location
Stockholm
Hybrid setup with office days.
